Q1. If I register am I under any obligation?

Q2. How much do you charge?
|
| A. Individual counsellors will charge an individual rate. Please refer to the ‘our counsellors’ page for more information. |

Q3. Is it weekly/fortnightly/monthly?
|
| A. Each session can be weekly or fortnightly. Again it depends on the individuals involved and how draining/useful they are finding the sessions. Listen2You will never seek to push clients and indeed as clients exhibit more independence from the treatments we'll actually suggest less and less counselling. |

Q4. How long is a full treatment?
|
| A. Counselling is a purely voluntary service and there is no set treatment time. Some people may find just two or three sessions is enough for them to get back on their feet whilst others will undergo months of sessions. After the initial session Listen2You will recommend the length of the next session and typically this will be set at 1hr per time. The reason for this is because counselling can be extremely emotionally draining, particularly to begin with and clients are never pushed to give more. Listen2You treat people as individuals and do not offer any 'off the shelf package deals'. As long as you need to talk, Listen2You are here to help. |

Q5. Do you keep track of the sessions?

| A. Yes but only your counsellor and Listen2You admin have access to view them. |

Q7. I’m a counsellor, when do I get paid and are there any hidden charges?
|
| A. All external counsellors are paid in accordance with our service provider on the first of each month directly in to your bank account. All payments are made 1 month in lieu, i.e. Fees accrued in January will be transferred on the first of February. Please allow up to 5 days for some bank transfers to be processed.
You will be emailed a comprehensive breakdown of how your fees were calculated upon request.
There are no hidden charges, Listen2You deduct ten pounds for every hour counselled which is to cover our own admin costs. |

Q8. I need to extend my session, Can I?
|
| A. Session extensions are up to the individual counsellors discretion and availability. Counselling can be extremely emotionally draining and your counsellor may feel it's not appropriate or, similarly, a counsellor may feel an hour isn't enough or they may not feel comfortable in ending the session. For all occasions counsellors have a button on the chat window which allows them to increase the session by an additional hour. |

Q9. Why Can't I Log On Early to My Chat?
|
| A. Neither client nor counsellor are able to log on to chat sessions before the designated start times. This is to provide security and peace of mind for all clients who book sessions to know that when they book 11:00-12:00 they won't be kept waiting. |

Q10. Are all the counsellors qualified?
|
| A. Unlike other similar sites who don't validate there counsellors qualifications, Listen2You insist on proof of qualification as part of the application period. All new counsellors are given a 14 day period of grace in which to provide proof of qualification, if this period expires without proof then that counsellor will be inactivated and may be banned from using the Listen2you service.
Chat logs will be examined and where it is felt necessary and/or applicable, details will be forwarded to the relevant governing bodies. Further action may then ensue. |

Q11. I need to cancel my session, can I?
|
| A. To cancel your session please email Listen2You direct stating your paypal email address,counsellor the session was booked with,time and date of session. Cancellations must take place no later than 24hrs before the allocated time or else no refund will be given. Please note that for all cancellations there is an applicable admin fee of £10 which will be deducted from your refund. |

Q12. I'm not from the UK, can I join?

| A. Yes certainly but please remember that all times and UK CET time and that all pricings are set in English Pound Sterling £. |

Q13. My chat session disconnected, what happens now?
|
| A. The Listen2You website is hosted on secure servers with optimal uptime. In the extremely unlikely event that a server fails during a session Listen2You will provide a full refund. Listen2You however cannot account for individual internet connections and these are the responsibilities of individual clients and counselors. Listen2You do not provide refunds in the event of client or counselor internet connections failing. Individual counselors may request Listen2You to provide a refund to clients at there own discretion. |
